The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for governorship, Darius Ishaku, as winner of the gubernatorial election in that state.
Darius Ishaku of PDP scored a total votes of 369,318 to defeat Sen. Aisha Arhasan of All Progressive Congress.
The governorship election in Taraba state was declared inconclusive by the INEC returning officer two weeks ago while a supplementary election was ordered in 10 out of the 16 Local Government areas of the state.
