gunmen

Unknown gunmen have kidnapped the chairman of maintenance unit of the College of Education (COE), Kastina-Ala in Benue state, Mr. Terwase Burbwa from his home on Saturday night.
Daily Sun gathered that the kidnap of Burbwa brings the number of kidnapped persons in the institution to three in the last one month.

It would be recalled that the provost of the school, Dr. Han Senwua was kidnapped on March 28 but was later released by his abductors after a substantial amount of money was paid to rescue him while his deputy became the second victim.

Sources said that the Burbwa was abducted from his resident in Kastina-Ala town at about 8pm shortly after his return from his nephew’s wedding.

When contacted, police spokesman in the state, ASP. Austin Ezeani said he was yet to be briefed on the matter but assured that the command would swing into action as soon as the matter is brought to its notice.
