This guy was caught robbing at Hanson close off Olateju Road in Mushin and residents beat him black, blue, red, pink and tied him up.
hey said not only did he steal, he also stabbed an old man in the area. He was rescued by SARS and is currently receiving treatment at LUTH.

Over 184 federal road projects have been abandoned by the contractors handling them, due to lack of funding from the Federal Government and the huge debt owed them by the Federal Ministry of Works.
It is said that due to the decisions of the contractors to abandon the sites, N1.76trn federal road projects across the country had suffered setback.

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has confirmed that three Nigerian pilgrims are among the 200 people that sustained minor injuries in the crane crash at Mecca’s Grand Mosque in Saudi Arabia.
The Chairman of the commission, Mallam Abdullahi Mukhtar, made this known at a news conference in Abuja, adding that the victims were responding to treatment in the Holy land.
Mukhtar did not name the victims but said two of them were from Kaduna and one from Gombe.

Dickson accused of squandering N1.5bn on declaration

A group of stakeholders from Bayelsa State, Thursday, accused the state Governor, Mr. Seriake Dickson, of bankrolling his formal declaration for a second term with N1.5billion state funds.

The group under the auspices of the Bayelsa Surveillance Group (BSG) claimed that the money was used by the governor to hire the mammoth crowd that attended his declaration in Yenagoa on Tuesday.

Ongoing probe of the administration of former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi by the State Judicial Commission of Inquiry has revealed how the sum of N53.930 billion was withdrawn out of the total N55 billion saved in the state reserved fund, originally meant to serve as a bail-out for the state in the case of emergency.
A Third Witness in the matter and representative of the First Bank of Nigeria, FBN Limited, which happens to be the trustees of the funds, Mr. Olufemi Okin, yesterday in Port Harcourt, gave evidence regarding the FBN Trustees relationship to the reserved funds.

The National Judicial Council (NJC) has queried a serving judge in Osun State, Justice Olamide Falahanmi Oloyede, over her petition to the state House of Assembly to commence impeachment proceedings against Governor Rauf Aregbesola and his deputy, Mrs Titilayo Laoye-Tomori for allegedly mismanaging the state’s resources.

Freed Boko Haram suspects

The Army in Maiduguri has released 128 suspects, including four foreigners arrested in connection with Boko Haram activities in Borno State.
