The Vice President, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Bishop Simeon Okah, has called for the trial of a former Rivers State Governor and current Minister of Transportation, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, for his alleged involvement in corruption while serving as governor in the state.
Okah said the ongoing anti-corruption fight of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration would not be taken seriously if “the likes of Amaechi and other cabinet members alleged to have stolen billions of naira belonging to their states for the 2015 general elections were not being tried.”

Niger Delta Militants Threaten To Shutdown MTN, DSTV, And Others Over Xenophobic Attacks

A coalition of Niger Delta militants on Wednesday threatened to blow up Multichoice (DSTV), MTN, Shoprite and 16 other major South African investments in Nigeria if the Federal Government failed to close them down within one month.
The militant groups, who were reacting to the ongoing xenophobic attacks on Nigerians and their businesses, gave one month ultimatum to South Africans living in Nigeria to relocate.

The Supreme Court in Abuja on Friday upheld the election of the Niger State governor, Abubakar Sani Bello, declaring that the case of the appellant, Mustapha Babangida, lacked merit.
In the case prepared by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen, the appellant did not participate in the election neither did he fail even though he is a bona fide member of the All Progressives Congress.

Thailand Most Clean Police Round Up Over 60 African ‘Prostitutes’ In Pattaya, Thailand [Photos]


Police in Thailand on Thursday morning, March 2nd, hauled off 40 African prostitutes off the streets in efforts to clean up Pattaya’s image.
This follows the previous round up, which took place last Friday, where 20 African prostitutes, who claimed to be tourists, were arrested and taken to the police station for questioning.
The raid on Walking Street and Beach Road was led by Netithorn Ratanasuchanan with local cops as well as police volunteers.

Reveals' Justice Onnoghen--How I Will Run Judiciary

Justice Walter Onnoghen who appeared before the Senate for screening and confirmation as the substantive Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) has vowed that it would be impossible for anybody to cow and pocket the judiciary under his watch.
In response to questions on the Senate’s concerns on judicial absurdities, particularly conflicting judgement, he said: ”Conflicting judgement are bound to happen because the processes are different and the lawyers can adopt any of the choices and the system of Nigeria Judiciary has a way of regulating itself.”
