Electoral materials meant for Ilile ward in Ohaji/ Egbema was said to have been hijacked by armed thugs allegedly led by Chief Charles Orie,who is the Traditional Prime minister of Ohaji.
It was learnt that Chief Orie, a PDP chieftain whose younger brother is
contesting the Ohaji/ Egbema state constituency against the APC candidate and incumbent, Hon Luke Chukwu, stormed the distribution centre at Obite with armed thugs and carted away the electoral materials meant for Ilile community.
This was just as angry supporters of APC torn the remaining materials and chased away electoral officers from the Area.
Similarly,in Awomama in Oru east local government thugs allegedly hijacked the electoral materials, it was also same in Ikeduru east where the UPP governorship candidate,Dr Osmond alleged that some thugs made away with the electoral materials.
