Super Eagles captain Vincent Enyeama has been sidelined by a back injury and could miss the South Africa, Nigeria friendly in Nelspruit on Sunday.

Enyeama failed to handle a 81st minute shot by Faruka Miya during their game against Ugandan on Wednesday and that ruined his 100th cap appearance for the Super Eagles. According to camp sources the Lile of France will now be replaced by Warri Wolves Daniel Akpeyi.
And in his place, stand-in coach, Daniel Amokachi has called up Warri Wolves’ Daniel Akpeyi.
Enyeama has been Nigeria’s first choice goalkeeper since 2002, after he replaced present goalkeeper trainer, Ike Shorunmu as Nigeria’s number 1.
Although, he temporarily lost his place to friend and rival, Austin Ejide in 2008, as the Hapoel Be’er Sheva of Israel ‘keeper was preferred by German coach, Berti Vogts.
