Former Head of State and APC Presidential candidate, Major-General
Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), has said that despite the endorsement of
President Goodluck Jonathan by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as its
sole candidate to contest the presidential seat in 2015, his party the
All Progressives Congress (APC) will still win overwhelmingly.
Buhari made this known during the inauguration of projects executed by the Sokoto state governor, Aliyu Wammako, on Friday Sept. 19th. He also condemned the manner in which the present government was tackling insurgency, and stressed voting APC means ending corruption in Nigeria. In his own words;
“The number of military men deployed to monitor elections in Ekiti State, if deployed to the North East, will end the Boko Haram insurgency. Our Chibok girls are still in captivity,”
“Our aim and focus is to put a stop to corrupt practices and restore hope to Nigeria,”
