For all those who love to listen to music from
their stereos with volume turned to the highest, you might have a
rethink after reading the following.
Some tenants with a low level of tolerance have beaten a co-tenant to stupor for playing music from his stereo at the highest volume.
Last weekend, 35-year-old man, Paul Igwe, was beaten black and blue for disturbing his co-tenants at Enyibuchiri Street, off Ezza Road, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.
Apparently, he was attacked after rejecting several appeals from his co-tenants to reduce the volume of his musical set, which had been constituting a nuisance to the environment.
Igwe sustained deep cuts on the back of his head as blood was seen gushing out from the injuries.
After the beating, he was rushed to the Federal Teaching Hospital Abakaliki, FETHA, by his wife and concerned neighbours for medical treatment when he started to slip into coma.
Igwe is still waiting to be discharged from the hospital.
