Unto 2015 Election: U.S. Promises To Help INEC

                      The United States of America has promised to help Nigeria out in next year’s 2015 national election.
                      The U.S today said that they will particularly assist the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in delivering credible elections, especially in 2015.

The Chief Political Secretary of the American Consulate in Nigeria, Mr Thomas Hines revealed this when he paid a visit to the Resident Electoral Commissioner for Rivers, Mr Aniedi Ikoiwak, in Port Harcourt.
Hines said Nigeria is one of the most valued partners of the U.S and they will make sure the electoral process in the country is credible.
He said: ’We will assist Nigeria as much as we can to ensure that there is free, fair and acceptable elections in February.
“We will achieve this through partnership in training of staff, providing necessary education for credible elections,’’ the consul said.
He said that his nation position is due to the long lasting relationship with Nigeria and the democratic prosperity of Nigeria was the concern of America.
He assured that one of America’s priority  is to strengthen Nigeria’s democracy through all the necessary supports.
Next year’s presidential election might prove to be one of the most important election in Nigeria’s young democracy due to the scourge of Boko Haram and the lack of developement in the amount of jobs available for the youths in the country.
