A man was set on fire by his wife while he was asleep.
Luckily, he was able to drag himself into a convenience store where he asked people to call police. Now, 52-year-old Vincent Phillips and his wife of Washington State were arrested. Phillips is facing charges of sex crimes after his wife said that he sexually abused her daughter.
40- year-old Tatanysha Hedman told police that she set her husband on fire because he sexually assaulted his 7-year-old stepdaughter.
Hedman remains jailed on charges of assault and arson for setting fire to Phillips in his sleep.
Phillips managed to extinguish the flames and stumbled into a nearby convenience store where he shouted: “I'm on fire,” and asked an employee to call the police.
When police arrived, Phillips said: “My wife did this,” before he collapsed. Hedman is being held in King County
