Someone believed to be a Nigerian has taken the virus to neighbouring
country, Republic of Benin just the same way late Liberian man late
Patrick Sawyer brought the deadly Ebola Virus into Nigeria from Liberia.
A hospital in the Francophone country has announced that they are
treating a Nigerian man who is believed to be carrying the deadly Ebola
disease, Benin Republic Health Minister, Dorotheé Gazard, said. A
blood sample of the Nigerian man has been taken to Senegal for testing
and verification as they quarantine him there in Benin Republic. If
confirmed, this case marks the beginnings of the virus in a fifth west
African country.
