Fulfil Your Election Promises, Yari Told

Governor Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara State, has been asked to re-double his efforts towards uplifting the state by fulfilling his election promises to the people.
These include the provision of water and roads construction among others.
The former Chairman of the defunct All Nigeria People’s Party, ANPP , in the state, Alhaji  Ibrahim Nabature Nahuce.

Nahuce spoke in an interview with Vanguard in Gusau, the state capital, explaining that the Yari, having started well from 2011 when he took over the mantle of the leadership of the state, should not give room to destroyers whose mission was to enrich themselves with the public funds at the expense of the common people.

According to him, Yari should not listen to the antics of those he described as few individuals  in the state, who were bent on feathering their own nests but work for the people who elected him into office.

‘’Before Yari came in as the governor of the state, everybody knew that so many things were lacking, particularly roads and other social infrastructure.

‘’Despite all odds, he (Yari) closed his eyes to do what he was supposed to do as a leader, as a result of which he has today become the best governor in not only, the northern part of the country, but the whole federation. He should keep on working for the people,” Nahuce added.

He also advised Yari to discharge his civic responsibility responsibly by carrying everybody along, irrespective of their political or religious inclinations so that together they would move the state forward.
