Full Detail On White House Bomb Threat

                    The White House Press Briefing Room was briefly evacuated on today after a bomb threat call was made.
Journalists were moved to the South Court Auditorium in Eisenhower Executive Office Building as the Secret Service and bomb-sniffing dogs cleared the James Brady Press Briefing Room.

Security officials eventually reopened the West Wing after the bomb threat, which was made via phone. Press Secretary Josh Earnest resumed his press briefing at 2:45 p.m. ET.

The White House threat was the second bomb scare of the day in Washington. At noon ET, he U.S. Capitol Police received a call reporting a suspicious package in a third-floor room of the Dirksen Senate Office Building. The office was evacuated for about an hour before officials deemed the area clear.

President Barack Obama was in the White House when the Briefing Room was evacuated and was not moved, Brady told reporters.
