A man who farted in a police officer's
face before branding him a terrorist, has
won award to serve in jail.
Malcolm Gill was put behind bars after admitting to ignoring
an order put in place when he was found guilty of the racially-aggrivated offence
in February.
At the time he was handed a community order but it didn't
take long for Gill to breach the conditions.
Then after failing to turn up for his trial a warrant was
issued by Kirklees Magistrates' Court for his arrest.
Originally, Gill was on bail in January for three shop
thefts when he was ordered to report to the police station.
After getting agitated he suddenly turned his bum towards
the officer and farted twice in his face before station: "You
b*****d, you terrorist!"
The court also heard Gill from Dalton stole meat from
numerous shops to fund his drug addiction.
When given a 12 month community order he failed to show for
two compulsory probation appointments.
Prosecuting Ian Whiteley said: “He has a longstanding
drugs issue.
“He was in hospital for six weeks and part of that time
covered the breach period.
“Mr Gill wants a rehab place as an in-patient but there’s no
funding available.”
Gill, 46, has been given an 18 week prison sentence.
