A man was arrested for impregnating a 14-year-old girl.In court, the man blamed the girl’s aunt for the ra**pe, saying that he had the woman’s consent.
25-year-old Zwelithini Vundla of Zimbabwe, had sex with the young girl for just R10 (about $1).The incident began when Vundla approached Fortunate Moyo, and asked to sleep with her niece. Moyo asked him to pay for the act, so Vundla explained that he only had only R10 on him.

Moyo accepted the deal and told her niece to go with the man. In court, Vundla said that he had sex with the child only after he received permission from her aunt.
Prosecutor Elisha Mazorodze, said that she ended up pregnant due to the illicit relationship. “The man slept with the girl several more times until she got pregnant,” Mazorodze said.
Judge Gideon Ruvetsa sentenced Vundla, to nine months in prison. Three months were suspended for five years on condition that he does not commit a similar offence.
He was also ordered the defendant to perform 210 hours of community service.
“It seems that you were fully aware that you were committing a crime by sleeping with the child, no matter whose approval you got. What remains a fact is that you slept with a minor, which is something you should not have done,” the judge said at sentencing.
