The incident happened around 2pm, at the Synagogue Church of all Nations compound in Ikotun, Lagos state. Casualties are reported to be as high as 50 and the the dead and injured are being taken to the Isolo general hospital.

What happened was that a part of the church building which is 6 storey
high and under construction collapsed. This portion of the church is an
extension/annex and serves as guest house for visitors and foreigners.
Among the injured where workers, passers by foreigners, canteen staffs
etc.
So far security agents have been called in to restrict people from coming close to the wreckage. A crane has also been brought in to clear the place and free those trapped inside. -
