Cooperate With Buhari, Tony Momoh Pleads With N-Deltans

... editor, I squared up to General Obasanjo in his office —Tony Momoh

A former Minister of Information and All Progressives Congress, APC, chieftain, Prince Tony Momoh, yesterday, pleaded with the people of the Niger Delta region to cooperate with President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration to ensure speedy actualisation of its dream for critical infrastructure development in the region.
Prince Momoh, in Abuja at the talkshop entitled, President Muhammadu Buhari, Change Agenda and the
Niger Delta Struggles, organised by Gatekeepers Foundation, Change Ambassadors of Nigeria and Niger Delta Media Professionals, said that Buhari was the only Nigerian prepared to lead the country since independence, adding: “Buhari shared in the sufferings of all Nigerians.

“We need the cooperation of the Niger Delta region for the development of Nigeria. We need their cooperation to succeed. We are all Nigerians and Nigerians are those who will work together to actualise God’s plan for Nigeria to be what it will be in the next few years. And all the geo-political zones of which Niger Delta is one must be involved. Not one of them can dissociate themselves from this plan.

“And so, the Niger Delta where I come from, must see themselves as part and parcel of Nigeria, that it is the only federation standing among all those packaged in the last century. All of them have collapsed. American predicted the collapse of Nigeria by 2015. Nigeria has not collapsed. In fact, with the coming of Buhari, he is the only president since 1960 who prepared himself to be president and contested for presidency in 2003, 2007, 2011 and has won in 2015.”
