Oh my God! I just came across this and I can’t help but feel sad for
Nigeria… Nigerian Airways doesn’t even exist anymore… The company was
founded in 1958 after the dissolution of West African Airways
Corporation..Plagued by mis-management, corruption, and overstaffing, at
the time of closure the airline had debts of more than US$60,000,000
($76,921,129 in 2014), a poor safety record…. Virgin Nigeria took over..
In 1973 Nigerian Airways Made N150 Billion Profit Yearly and created jobs for Nigerians.. The question is are we moving forward or backward??
