President Goodluck Jonathan has sacked the Executive Chairman of Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Kabiru Mashi, and replaced him with Samuel Ogungbesan.
Until his elevation on Wednesday, Mr. Ogungbesan, whose appointment takes immediate effect, was a coordinating Director at FIRS.
Mashi had served as acting Executive Chairman of the agency since 2012.
