Channel O VJ,
Denrele Edun spent a very solemn Valentine’s Day by the graveside of his
late bestie and soulmate, Goldie Harvey.
Dressed in his weird costume, the show host was at Vaults & Gardens, Ikoyi with a bouqet.
He shared pictures of his visit on his instagram page with a very emotional poem (see below.)
On her way back from the US where she attended the 2013 Grammy
Awards, Goldie slumped when she was barely home and did not make it to
the hospital. She was age 29 and left behind a British hubby, Andrew
Harvey.
According
to an autopsy, conducted by The Department of Pathology and Forensic
Medicine of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, that the
Nigerian pop star died of ‘hypertensive heart disease,’ which triggered
an “intracerebellar hemorrhage.
Denrele’s Poem;
Gone……but where?
I can’t call you on the phone,
I can’t knock on your door,
No matter how loud I scream, you can’t respond.
I held your hand as you took your last agonizing breath,
You fought with your heart and your soul,
You fought for me and defended me on countless

I can’t knock on your door,
No matter how loud I scream, you can’t respond.
I held your hand as you took your last agonizing breath,
You fought with your heart and your soul,
You fought for me and defended me on countless
