officially declared Nigeria Ebola free after six weeks of no new cases.
The declaration which is ongoing at the Shehu Musa Yar'Adua centre in

Rui Gama Vaz said,
"The virus is gone for now. The outbreak in Nigeria has been defeated. This is a spectacular success story that shows to the world that Ebola can be contained."

minds on as a nation and a people.
Congratulations to us again! It feels so good to be a Nigerian today. Lol.
I got photos from the event from the Ebola Alert twitter page, continue to see the pics...
The declaration is taking place right now at the Shehu Musa Yar'Adua centre in Abuja.

Kudos
to everyone who made this possible. We also remember the seven lives
which we lost in this battle. May the souls of the departed continue to
rest in eternal glory.
