Father of 4 Sentenced To Death For Killing His Wife in Lagos state

 

Lagos High Court sitting in Igbosere has sentenced a father of four children, Mr. Austine Ugbogbo, to death, for the murder of his wife.
Ugbogbo was convicted and sentenced to death by hanging by the court judge Justice Ebenezer Adebanjo.

Mr Austine who resides at Oyingbo, Ebute-Metta was charged before the court by the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) on behalf of Lagos state government over the murder of his wife, Ann Ugbogbo.
Ann Ugbogbo, was accidentally murdered by her husband Mr. Ugbogbo, on January 26, 2012 at their family resident during a fight.

The husband reportedly thrown a burning stove on his wife which caused her death.
