3 Nigerian Surgeons,Separates Conjoined Twins After 26 Hours(See Photos)

                    It has emerged that three Nigerian born surgeons were among the team of 12 surgeons in the US, who successfully separated a conjoined twins(pictured with their mother before the surgery),
  who shared a common diaphragm, pelvis, lungs, intestines and lining of the heart and were joined at the chest almost head-to-head..see photos of the Nigerians below;

Lagos doctors suspend indefinite

             The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) and its affiliate, the Lagos State Medical Guild, Wednesday suspended their indefinite strike.
                According to the secretary, NMA Lagos State chapter, Dr Babajide Saheed, the decision was reached at a joint meeting between the NMA and the Medical Guild.

Lagos Doctors Begin Indefinite Strike

 

                 Medical doctors working for the Lagos State Government on Monday began an indefinite strike over several protracted issues with the state government.
The Lagos doctors, under the aegis of the Medical Guild, are aggrieved over issues which include alleged engagement of doctors as casual workers and the withholding of doctors’ salaries for May 2012 and from August to September 2014 over the doctors involvement in industrial action.
Meanwhile the state government has described the current strike as illegal, just like the former one.
In a press statement signed by the State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Lateef Ibirogba, the government says it is a fact that those health workers who did not work during the stated period were not paid.
