Abducted American, Chanchangi in-law regain freedom

 



             A Nigerian-American Donald Iwuagwu who was kidnapped in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has regained his freedom after spending two weeks in the kidnappers’ den.
           The Rivers State Police Command confirmed this in Port Harcourt Friday.

Also rescued were Isiyaka Jibril, son in-law to Alhaji Ahmadu Chanchangi, Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Chanchangi Airlines, who was also abducted while on a business trip to Port Harcourt and two others – Engr. Akuruka Reginald and Lambert Lucious who accompanied Iwagwu to Port Harcourt.
A statement issued by the state’s Police Public Relation Officer, Ahmed Mohammed, said Iwuagwu was  lured into the country by a man he met on Facebook, claiming that he was Sen. Llyel Imoke , Governor  of Cross River State.
