Nollywood film maker, Kunle Afolayan was recently verbally attacked on Instagram by one of his fans, Dada Timilehin, for posting a photo in support of Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola’s second term in office.
Afolayan over the weekend put up a picture of the Governor and wrote ‘A typical example of a true leader and Good Governance. I Kunle Afolayan hereby endorse Ogbeni as a visionary and competent leader. Make your vote count’
About an hour later, Dada commented on the post, calling the film maker a fool for endorsing Aregbesola. He wrote ‘@kunleafo,you are such a fool,am so sorry for expressing my feelings towards you+mind the state you dey,@aregbesola doesn’t worth it#teamomisore#myb@kunleafolayan’ he wrote and after a few bashes from Afolayan’s fans, he later apologised and wrote, ‘So sorry@allyou,this man doesn’t worth it,thats just it’.
Afolayan hit back at him saying, ‘it’s so obvious you are the fool for apologising after running your mouth and it shows in your sentence how learned you are. Omo alaileko’ to which an unremorseful Dada replied ‘na Gabriel afolayan you dey refer to,as for you fools like kunle afolayan,#shutthefuckup#’.
Fans and colleagues including Yomi Fash Lanso and DJ Tee have since advised Afolayan not to further trade words with Dada, ‘Kunle o, pls don’t reply anybody..just ignore, na cinema me and you dey think o, sho gbo ooo…ONE LOVE‘, DJ Tee wrote.
