New Survey Shows That Nigerians Spend More Money On Recharge Card Than Food

                       Nigerians may be spending more money to recharge their phones than they spend on feeding, a recent survey by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) and the World Bank has indicated.
The result of the General Household Panel Survey conducted by the NBS in collaboration with the World Bank Living Standard Measurement Study Group indicated that each household in Nigeria spends an average of N20,874 on recharge cards, N14,620 on food N33, 373 on house rent, N13,860 on petrol, N7,748 and N6,660 on kerosene on a monthly basis.

We Ensure Adequate Supply Of Products – MOMAN

                       The Major Oil Markers Association of Nigeria (MOMAN) has assured the public of adequate supply of the Premium Motor Spirit to reduce queues witnessed in fuel stations in the country.

Oil Marketers Meet, Resolve Subsidy Debt Controversy

 

                   The Federal Government on Monday met with the Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria with an assurance that the fuel scarcity, being experienced in some parts of the country, would be over within the next few days.
The meeting, presided over by the Minister of Finance, Dr Ngozi Omonjo-Iweala, was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Finance in Abuja.
It was also resolved at the meeting, which was attended by representatives of MOMAN and some senior officials in the finance ministry, that outstanding subsidy claims would be paid even after a new government takes over power.
