Court Bars Rivers APC Chairman, Flag-Amachree, From Medical Trip

The Supreme Court on Thursday dismissed a motion by the chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, Ojukaye Flag-Amachree, asking to be allowed to travel to Dubai for medical check-up.
Flag-Amachree is standing trial on allegation of murder of a man during the 2015 election in Asari-Toru Local Government Area of the state.

BREAKING: Balogun defies NWC, Declares Sanwo-Olu Winner of Lagos APC Primaries

The Chairman of the Lagos State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, Mr. Tunde Balogun, on Tuesday night declared Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu as the winner of the party’s governorship primary.
Balogun declared that Sanwo-Olu polled 970,851 votes to defeat incumbent Governor Akinwunmi Ambode with 72,901 votes.

The Independent National Electoral Commission declared the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Gboyega Oyetola, as the Governor-elect of Osun State.
The rerun of the Osun State governorship election was held in seven polling units across four council areas on Thursday with the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Gboyega Oyetola, beating the Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Ademola Adeleke.
